Out On A Limb - Ridge Runner 2.0 Saddle Hunting Platform
The Perfect Size Saddle Platform
I've used a lot of saddle hunting platforms, some are too narrow, others too shallow, others too big and bulky. The Ridge Runner 2.0 is just right. It's the perfect balance of shape and size for comfort, easy to hang, and has plenty of room to make all the shots including the weak side shot.
Adjustability
I used the original Ridge Runner Platform for many seasons, I loved everything about it except for one thing...it lacked downward adjustability for those leaning trees. The Ridge Runner 2.0 fixed that issue and has a ton of platform adjustment for the hard leaning trees, giving you a nice level standing surface. It also has a folding top standoff for slimmer packability.
Traction
Grip is not an issue on Ridge Runner Platforms! It has a completely notched platform surface that's also coated with a rough powder coat finish for traction in any position.
Rock Solid Bite
Side pressure and kick outs are not a problem with this saddle platform. This thing sinks it's teeth into trees and won't let go! Even on rock hard trees like hickory this platform bites, no need to toe hook this platform, you may even have to loosen the strap a little because it bites so hard.
