Our Story

I never set out to own my own company or make things to sell to people.

I am just an average guy that was not satisfied with the saddle hunting gear that was available for me to purchase commercially, so I started making my own gear on an old Singer sewing machine.

I became a bit obsessed with sewing my own gear and spent any free time I had at the machine. Somewhere along the way I became pretty good at it and started making saddles for myself and my friends.

I can’t say that I make the best saddles because everyone is different and has different preferences or needs from a saddle. I can say that I build every one of the saddles I make like I was building it for myself. I take a lot of pride in what I do and I am always looking to make the next stitch better than the last one.

I am proud to bring the production of all Overwatch Outdoors gear back home to Morehead, KY. This little mountain town surrounded by public land was the reason I got into saddle hunting.

For now, I will be making every single product we sell myself, and with the continued support of the people buying our products, I hope to add some employees to this crazy side gig that somehow became my full-time job.

The greatest compliment I have received about our products is that they just feel different in your hands. You can feel the difference in the quality of the materials and the craftsmanship. I hope that you take a chance on our small company and feel the difference for yourself.
